The Affiliate Summit West 2010 has come and gone just like that and has left us in awe of the sheer amount of affiliates and excitement at this year’s event. The summit was the biggest affiliate gathering in history, with over 4,000 people in attendance that included industry pros and amateurs alike. There were guest speakers, parties, events and some great networking events.
Overall, it was a tremendous success and we are proud to have been a part of the experience. We had fun meeting new people and engaging in conversations with affiliates who took the time to learn about our innovative cost per view (CPV) or pay per view (PPV) advertising solutions. The amount of positive feedback for our contextual ad platform was phenomenal and we were amazed at the huge number of visitors that came to our booth this year.
Some of the highlights of the event include the amazing keynote speech by the acclaimed Dr. Robert Cialdini. If you have never heard of the doctor, he is the writer of one of the best selling marketing books in history, Influence. If you want to make it as an affiliate marketer, this book is an essential read. The second keynote speaker, Brian Clark, was memorable for his talk about thinking like a new media producer as well as branding as an affiliate.
However, the best memories of the summit include those that we can’t quite remember… But here are some pictures and videos to prove that it actually happened!
