CPV URL CAMPAIGN TIPS

  1. URL bidding allows you to advertise on your competitors websites.

  2. You can bid on any website on the Internet.

  3. Adding hundreds of website URLs is the best way to get lots of traffic. Most URL campaigns feature 500 or more URLs.

  4. Use Similar Site tools like http://www.similarsitesearch.com/ to find websites that are similar to yours and your competitors.

  5. Search Google for a keyword or phrase your target audience might type in, and add the URLs from the results page to your list of URL targets. The more specific the better!

  6. Use the Alexa Top 1,000,000 Sites list to find high traffic websites that your target market visits.
    (TIP: Try to avoid websites with really diverse audiences ie Facebook or Google)

  7. Bid on limited sections of websites (ie widgets.domain.com or domain.com/widgets). If you bid on a subdomain or a folder, your ad will only be shown to visitors who are in that part of the website. (ie bookstorewebsite.com/travelbooks will only show your ad to visitors in the travelbooks section)

  8. Bid on your competitor�s shopping cart pages to target visitors who are ready to buy!

  9. Use Quantcast to find websites that have similar demographic audiences to your own.

  10. Search Google for sites related to a specific domain. Simply go to Google, and search for �related:www.insertanysitehere.com�
