CPV LANDING PAGE TIPS

  1. While you can point users directly to your homepage, it is best to setup a custom landing page that has a call-to-action button.

  2. Your landing page should fit within the dimensions of 800 pixels wide by 600 pixels tall. If your landing page is larger than this, scroll bars may appear when your page is displayed in some cases.

  3. Think about your landing page more like a big billboard ad than a website. You should have a prominent headline the reader can absorb in 1-2 seconds, an image to grab the users attention and engage them visually, and a call to action such as CLICK HERE.

  4. The simpler, the better. Avoid the temptation to cram too much information onto your landing page. The advertisers who report the best results on DirectCPV keep things simple and clean, and use a second page, or the lower section of the page below the scroll bar, to explain the minor details.

  5. Target your landing pages to the domains and keywords you are advertising on.

For example, If you are advertising a travel agency, consider using separate landing pages with different headlines and images for keywords or websites that include the word Mexico and those that include the word Italy.

  6. Test different landing pages to see which one works best. If your campaigns are not generating enough leads or sales, the culprit is often the landing page. Testing a new landing page that follows the guidelines outlined here can often increase a poor conversion rate by several hundred percent.
