What CPA Offers Perform Best on DirectCPV?

Today, as part of our “Your CPV Questions Answered” series, we’re going to tackle the big question – how to find CPA offers that make money on DirectCPV.

What Makes a CPV Campaign Profitable?

Let’s step back to Economics 101 for a second. The best products to promote with CPV traffic have:

A) High Demand
B) Low Supply

With run of network traffic, the best CPA offers to promote are those that appeal to the highest possible percentage of the population. What products or services do people of all ages, races, genders, political beliefs and income levels need?

For keyword and URL campaigns, your CPA offers don’t need to appeal to the masses because your traffic is highly targeted. However, you still want to promote offers that appeal to the majority of the people who will see your ad.

The trick is to find high demand offers that appeal to a niche market which isn’t over-saturated with competition.

Finding High Demand Products

Finding high demand products in specific niche markets is actually quite easy.

The Amazon Bestsellers List (http://www.amazon.com/bestsellers) helps you to find products that are in high demand across many different niche markets.

Finding CPA Offers Related to a Product

Next, use www.offervault.com to search for affiliate programs related to those products.

Offer Vault lets you preview the landing page and see demographic information on people who purchase the offer.

Predicting Supply

The number of days a product has been in the top 100 of the Amazon Bestsellers List is a great indicator of supply. Products that have been in the top 100 list for a long time will often be saturated with advertisers.

If you can catch a product that has just entered the top 100, your bid prices may be lower because there aren’t as many competitors yet for that term.

Other Tools

Another great tool for finding trending topics is Google Trends (www.google.com/trends).

It also helps to monitor news network websites (i.e. www.cnn.com) for stories about products that are receiving significant media attention.

BONUS TIP: Find the most popular books in your niche, and add the titles of those books to your keyword list. These are almost always a low-cost source of highly targeted traffic.

By finding high demand products that aren’t already saturated with advertisers, you’ll achieve higher profit margins and make more money.
